(San Diego, CA -- June 11, 1997) : KIC Thermal Profiling, the leader in real-time thermal process monitoring, has signed an OEM agreement with Prolink, Inc., creators of QC-Calc(tm), an automated Statistical Process Control (SPC) program. This partnership brings, for the first time, the power of Statistical Process Control into the realm of thermal process management.

QC-Calc provides a powerful addition to the KIC software, completely automating real-time data collection, management, and analysis of temperature measurements reported by the KIC Prophet Thermal Manager, with minimal initial set-up.

SPC analyses of thermal process temperature distributions over time are now possible and can be reported on Xbar-Range, Process Capability (CpK), Pareto, Correlation and Regression charts through the use of a flexible report generator included with the QC-Calc software.
