KIC Experts Offer Profiling Advice at APEX 2009

(San Diego, CA -- February 18, 2009) : KIC, the leader of thermal process development and control products, and winner of multiple industry awards, announces that company specialists will be available to discuss profiling questions and give related advice in booth #2258 at the upcoming APEX 2009 exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place March 31-April 2, 2009 in Las Vegas.

SMT lines often run at half capacity during these difficult times, but engineers and operators are asked to do more with less. When products are run, the demands on the SMT line are more, since those that need to produce product within specifications are typically short of staff. Thus, the need for "Smart Tools," from KIC such as the award winning prediction software Navigator and Auto-Focus that help companies to get in spec, and stay in spec.

As a valuable industry resource, experienced staff professionals at KIC wrote a book on profiling to help anyone, from the novice operator to the more experienced engineer, profile their process.

If KIC‘s engineering experts cannot answer a profiling question during the APEX exhibition, that person will receive a free copy of the 2009 Profiling Guide (a $24.00 value).

"Mike Limberg and I began writing this book even before the economic downturn. Our industry has always suffered from a knowledge gap and lack of some standardization, which is becoming exasperated with the loss of talent. This book will help in a no-nonsense, practical way for many SMT lines to profile for profitability," said Brian O‘Leary, KIC‘s North American Sales Manager, and co-author of the 2009 Profiling Guide.
