KIC Celebrates Its 30th Year in the Electronics Industry

(San Diego, CA -- February 4, 2008) : KIC, the leader of thermal process development and control products, and winner of multiple industry awards, announces that it is entering its 30th year of business within the electronics industry.

Founded in 1977 by Casey Kazmierowicz, KIC entered the electronics industry with the introduction of the first continuous monitoring system for conveyorized furnaces for microcomputers. Since then, KIC has grown dramatically to become the industry leader in automated thermal management tools and systems for reflow, wave, cure and semiconductor thermal processes.

The company pioneered the development of thermal profilers and process development tools, and then worked to create the next generation of systems to help manufacturers optimize and monitor thermal processes.
