ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Full Time / Non-Exempt / Permanent
Rancho Bernardo (San Diego) Office
Reports to Production/ R & D Operations Manager
Wages: DOE

SUMMARY

The primary function of the Engineering Technician is to provide support for Research and Development and Production by performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to assembly, documentation and testing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research on parts and materials
• Documentation
• Mechanical Assembly
• Electrical wiring and assembly
• Data Entry and Documentation
• Product testing
• Document engineering processes, procedures and assembly notes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge of tools
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs
• Good writing skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Soldering and wiring experience
• Knowledge of and/or experience working with oscilloscope and meters
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access
